Mr. Hermann F. Leiningen

Hermann Leiningen is Managing Director, International Family Office Investments with RBC’s Enterprise Strategic Client Group. He is responsible for representing RBC’s investment capabilities to global family offices.

Hermann started his career over 30 years ago in NYC with J&W Seligman, a US based Institutional Investment firm. He was then hired by Dominion Securities, which was later purchased by RBC, and has worked in Lausanne, Geneva, London and Toronto. He has spent his career working with RBC’s Institutional and Family office clients.

Hermann was Vice President Co-Investment Strategist for RBC Dominion Securities in Toronto, Vice President Capital Markets Institutional Sales in Lausanne covering Pensions across Europe, Head of the Investment Committee for RBC Global Asset Management in Geneva managing discretionary assets for Global Private Banking clients and Managing Director RBC GAM in London helping build out the institutional business globally.

Hermann is often asked to speak at client events and conferences around the world with a focus on capital markets.

Hermann has a deep European family history and is a descendant of most of Europe’s royal families including Queen Victoria. He graduated from Queen’s University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree, and is married with three daughters and two grandsons.
