Mr. George Babits
George Babits is a lawyer, investor and entrepreneur. He has been in private practice for more than 25 years, and has served on the Boards of a number of private companies. Mr. Babits is currently a Venture Partner with Ocean Azul Partners, an early stage venture capital fund based in South Florida, as well as Vice-Chairman of QYOU Media, a fast-growing global media company based in Los Angeles that curates, packages and markets premium content from leading digital video creators for multi-screen and multi-platform distribution, currently reaching more than one billion consumers around the world every month. He is a leading donor in the Hungarian Studies Program at the University of Toronto’s Munk School of Global Affairs, which is the largest such program in North America. He has also been involved in and led numerous not-for-profit organizations. Mr. Babits holds degrees from Western University (B.A., Economics) and the University of Ottawa (LL.B./J.D.), and has completed the Certificate Program in Negotiation and Leadership at Harvard Law School. He is fluent in English, French and Hungarian.
