Andrew Yam

Senior Managing Director, Global Head of Capital Markets, American Landmark

Andrew Yam serves as Senior Managing Director and Global Head of Capital Markets at American Landmark and is a member of the firm’s Investment Committee and Senior Executive Management Committee. He oversees the investment management function and leads global capital formation, the strategic structuring of funds, and institutional partnerships.

Andrew brings 25 years of experience across real estate development, investment banking, private equity, acquisitions, and institutional capital formation. Prior to joining American Landmark, he founded PXPillar Capital, advising real estate investment managers on capital strategy and institutional partnerships.

His previous experience includes real estate private equity at Lehman Brothers, Mergers & Acquisitions at Citigroup, evaluating real estate fund managers for Northwestern University’s endowment, Phoenix Property Investors, and Cottonwood Group. Across his career, he has executed over $9 billion in asset value across the full capital stack and a broad spectrum of strategies, including value-add, opportunistic, credit, and special situations across the U.S., Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.

Andrew holds a Master’s degree in real estate from Harvard University, where he serves on the Harvard Alumni Real Estate Board, and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He is a Fellow of the Toigo Foundation, a Development Committee member of Science Club for Girls, and a golf coach at First Tee.
